​Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
This scripture has carried me through so many tough decisions that I have had to make in ministry and in life. The key to the whole process is  trusting in the Lord and not leaning to your own understanding. The reason being if you begin to lean on your understanding more than your trust in God, you will make decisions according to your own logic and desires.
When we place our trust in Him we depend upon His infinite wisdom and that is how we acknowledge Him as Lord. It is then that He will direct our paths.
