Sherry Freeman is a native of Newport, TN and has been a member of the Newport Church of God (which her great grandfather started) her entire life. Over the years she has held many positions including: Sunday School Secretary, Teacher, Youth Leader and Staff Member, Head of the Mission Board, and Council Member. Serving as a Youth Leader for over 30 years her heart is for teenagers to discover who they are in Jesus Christ. Her greatest passion is ministering to the people in the Amazon jungles of Peru where she has been on over 40 mission trips to show them the Love of Jesus.
