11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him.
14 For He knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.
This scripture speaks to us of God’s Amazing Grace towards men. It lets me know that God in all His great power and wisdom loves me and has an overwhelming desire to redeem each and every one of us. In verse 14 it tells us that He knows who we are and takes into account that we are made of dirt that He breathed life into. His understanding fuels the desire to remove my transgression out of sight, cover me with mercy, and walk with me as my Heavenly Father.
