November the 11th was Veteran’s Day a day set aside by our nation to honor all those living and deceased who have served their country I military service. For many it is a bitter sweet day just like Memorial Day is, in which we celebrate all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for God and Country.
This Sunday morning being a veteran myself, we give honor to all that have served in any branch of our countries great military. For they stand on a wall between us and the tyrants of this world fighting and dying so that we may live in peace and be free to worship or God without fear of reprisal. Speaking as Lead Pastor of the Newport Church of God. On behalf of the whole church I say THANK YOU to all our veterans. All gave some, but some gave all. John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
