From the Pastor's Desk

Today is one of the most important days of the year as far as the Newport Church of God goes. For today is our, “Vision Casting Service”. This of course is when the pastoral staff presents their vision to the church body and we lay out a plan of attack against the forces of darkness.
Even Jesus knowing that His death was just a few days away began to cast His vision for His disciples and church in John chapters 14-17. The visions that He cast was basically that the disciples and the church as a whole body, love one another and carry the Gospel to all the world.
 
Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.
