​Ephesians 6:1-4
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: 3 “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.” 4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
 This passage of scripture tells us the responsibility of the Fathers as well as the children. The family has a God given commandment to honor the father as the head of the house. The Father has a God given commandment to be the spiritual head and leader of his household. Raising and training his household how to pray, how to worship, take them to church, but above all to exemplify the unconditional love and forgiveness of our Heavenly Father through his actions.
