From the Pastor's Desk

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
The reason I chose this very familiar scripture for mediation this week is the life lesson that it holds for the believer. The lesson is this; you cannot not operate by your own logic, emotions, and perception. If you truly desire for God to move and direct your path in this life then all of your natural way of thinking has to go and you must begin to trust totally in God. The only way to do this is by getting the way God operates inside of you and that only comes by His Word. The Bible tells how God thinks and desires to move in our lives. That’s why the enemy wants to use the cares of this life to choke the Word of God out of you.
