From the Pastor's Desk

Proverbs 31:30-31
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates.
This whole chapter is dedicated to the value of a God fearing woman. What these particular scriptures are saying is that a personality can be deceitful and as we age beauty will fade, but a woman who serves the Lord is worthy of praise.
The church would not have made it if it were not for faithful women. Women who have prayed, fasted, raised money, cooked, and supported the ministry with all their means. I am so thankful for all the godly women God has placed in my life over the years but especially for my wife, my mother, and my grandmother or nanny as we all knew her.
