Genesis 8:22
“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” This is a promise that God made after He destroyed everything with the flood. He basically told Noah that as long as he planted seed it would come up. It is then recorded in Genesis 9:20-22 that Noah became a farmer, planted a vineyard, grew some grapes, made some wine and got drunk and passed out in his tent. Basically resulting in one of his sons being cursed and the descendants of that son being a thorn in the flesh of Israel unto this day. We are now in the season of spring which is the season of sowing seed. The thing about it to remember is that what seed you sow will come up. Galatians 6:77 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Let’s make it a point to purposefully sow good seed not just into our lives but the lives of others in this season of spring or seed sowing. The greatest seed of all is the seed of the Gospel for when it is sown eternal life is reaped. If you don’t like the harvest you are reaping then change the seed you are sowing.
