Spring is one of my favorite times of the year for a couple of reasons. One my beautiful wife was born on the first day of spring, and secondly everything about spring speaks of the resurrection.
I don’t think that it was by happenstance or an accident that the Passover as well as the crucifixion all takes place in the spring of the year. Of course the Passover Feast being a typology and foretelling of the sacrifice and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ the eternal Lamb of God. To me personally, more so than the New Year, spring is all about new beginnings. It’s about the old passing away and all things becoming new. After all this was one of the promises of our Lord is that He would make all things new. Revelation 21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” If you are tired of your life and the way things are going then come to Christ and let our Lord fulfill this promise in your life. He will make the old you pass away and create a new creature, a new man in His name. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
