Matthew 7:1-2
“Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
This is one of the classic scriptures that Jesus gave us to live by in the Sermon on the Mount. It is a simple concept that so few seem to grasp.
The reason is that as human we are so prone to judge others for the same things that we seem to be doing in one way or another.
Plus on top of that we must realize that according to scripture whatever amount of grace and mercy that we deal out to others is the same amount that will be returned unto us.
I can only speak for myself but as for me and the life that I live I need a lot of grace and mercy so I personally try to deal out a lot of grace and mercy. It is a concept that you can never go wrong in operating by. Because there is a guarantee that somewhere in your life at some time you are going to need both grace and mercy given to you.
