From the Pastor's Desk

     Its hard to believe that today is the last day in the month of January. It seems like the older you get the faster time passes you by. Because of this as you begin to mature in age you learn not to take anything for granted, and that each moment is a memory and something to be cherished.
James 4:14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away
This passage of scripture relates to us of just how fleeting this life is, and that in a moment you can look up and it will all be gone, or you have aged and life has passed you by without you accomplishing all the things you had hoped to.
All we can do is live every day the best we can under the grace and mercy of our Creator. Taking advantage of every moment to do good and have a positive impact on the lives of those around us. I know we all have regrets, but now is the time to start living our lives with as few as possible. To live on purpose and not allow happenstance to control our lives and emotions.
Ephesians 5:15-16 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
