From the Pastor's Desk

     I would just like to take this issue of “From The Pastor’s Desk” to let everyone know how much my family and I enjoyed the food fun fellowship and gifts from the church on our Pastor Appreciation day. You all truly have made us feel appreciated and loved beyond any question, and without any doubt. The greatest pleasure that I personally have as a pastor is to see the growth spiritually and numerically here at the Newport Church of God.
It is a great pleasure to be able to serve this church as Lead Pastor and I know that the pastoral staff feels the very same way.
God bless you all, we dearly love you all, and sincerely thank each and every one of you for everything you do for us.
 
Hebrews 13:15-17
15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. 16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.
