From the Pastor's Desk

     I received a call this week from a church that wants to hire a Youth Pastor and they were inquiring as to what the process was and how they needed to start.
My first question to this individual was how many students they presently had in their youth group. The answer was zero this person was emphatic about the fact that they had no youth at all. When I heard this I took advantage of it to be a moment of instruction and teaching.
In any ministry, business or even a life that seems to be dying change is urgent. Change will bring new life, excitement, and health to the circumstances. If I myself see a ministry or project that is dying I immediately began to work on what changes need to be made. If a church as a whole starts to die and no change is made the church will simply phase out and cease to exist.
The thing about any kind of change is that, if the changes you make aren’t working, You can always change to something else until you find what does work.
You can’t fear change it’s the stuff that life is made of. The only time change stops is when death comes in.
In the Book of Ecclesiastes states there is a time and season for everything under the sun. It’s meaning is that there is always a time and season for change.
