From the Pastor's Desk

     In 1 Peter 5:7 it says “cast all your cares upon the Lord for He cares for you”. Then also in Matthew 6:34 Jesus tells us not to worry about tomorrow that the things of tomorrow will take care of themselves. But Jesus precedes that statement with a very familiar verse in Matthew 6:33 in which the Lord says to seek the Kingdom of God first and His righteousness and the He will add everything else you need to your life.
These are just a few scriptures in the Bible that reassure us that when we put all our trust in the God that we serve He makes covenant with us that He will take care of all that we will ever need on this earth and in eternity. In Mark 11:22 Jesus says “Have faith in God” even though it seems like there is no way it can be that simple it really is.
So having said that let us strive to release all the worry and anxiety that life tries to bring and simply cast all those cares and worry on Him who loves us the most.
